ASX Dividend Information
Important information about future ASX dividend payments
Dividend payments will be made by direct credit only to ASX shareholders with registered addresses in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. These changes were first advised to shareholders in March 2012.
Payments of dividends by direct credit will ensure shareholders receive their dividends in a fast, efficient and secure way.
Cheques will only be issued to shareholders with a registered address outside of Australia, New Zealand or the United Kingdom.
What shareholders need to do to update their dividend payment instructions
Shareholders already receiving dividend payments directly into a bank account do not need to do anything.
Those who have not previously provided us with the details of their nominated bank account need to do so by to make sure they receive future dividends.
Viewing and updating your dividend payment details is easy. Shareholders can view their dividend payment instructions and access their customised Direct Credit Payment Form online. To log in you will need your Securityholder Reference Number (SRN) or Holder Identification Number (HIN) as well as your postcode (must be the postcode recorded on your holding record).
The Direct Credit Payment Form can be submitted by either of these two options:
- email asx@linkmarketservices.com.au
- post to Link Market Services, Locked Bag A14, Sydney South NSW 1235
For further information shareholders can contact Link Market Services on 1300 724 911 or email asx@linkmarketservices.com.au.
Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies
Direct credit payments to Shareholders with registered addresses in New Zealand and the United Kingdom will involve a currency conversion prior to the dividend payment being made (from Australian Dollars (AUD) to New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and also Australian Dollars (AUD) to British Pounds (GBP)). The exchange rates (AUD/NZD and AUD/GBP) will be set after the dividend record date.
