Trading Platforms

ASX Group has two trading platforms which have been developed to reflect the differing needs of ASX market participants and their customers: ASX Trade for securities traded under the ASX market licence, and ASX Trade24 for securities traded under the ASX 24 (previously known as the SFE) market licence. Access Options

ASX provides participants the ability to offer their clients a range of options for accessing ASX's trading platforms. These access options cover the full range of needs regardless of the participant's business model (traditional full-service, voice-based brokerage or a fully electronic brokerage specialising in direct market access (DMA)). Please see our page on Trading Technology for more information.

High Quality Information

Participants can rely on high quality information, direct fom the source, covering prices, reference data and company announcements with delivery and pricing options flexible enough to be tailored to meet the requirements of different participant business models.  In addition, ASX provides historical data, essential for research and development, and can be used, for example, in the development of new trading algorithms.

Research & Education

ASX works closely with SIRCA, a leading independent, university-based research group specialising in researching market micro-structure and market quality developments. By contacting their account manager, participants can request research to be undertaken on behalf of themselves or their clients. ASX also makes a significant investment in improving the financial literacy of retail investors.  Please see our page on Investor Education for more information.
